 It was moment of Pride.. Social contributors were recognized by Madras School of Social Work Alumni association on the republic day on 26th Jan 2018
The recognition is to show case role models to students. and publick MSSW Alumni will do this every Republic Day and Dr Palan ( another Alumni) has sponsored this ( year on year) . Their stories are to become syllabus for teaching Social Work - no theories, but real action with impact to society. Every one chosen is a Gem It was from the batches of 1952 to 1978 and there are many more, who will , soon be spotted and brought to LIMELIGHT. They are the Heroines and Heros who have less visibility and high impact. Surfacing them is the journey MSSW has embarked on Happy to be part of that event and Kudos to the office bearers Deenadayalan Singaram
